WCSU鈥檚 Orientation Program provides incoming students and their families with help and guidance for student academic success, personal growth and meaningful connections. Orientation is dedicated to facilitating students鈥 transition to university life.
We promote organizational and individual wellness and respect among our community by fostering a wellness culture across the university鈥檚 campuses and by building partnerships with the greater community.
WCSU's 101 FYE course introduces new students to opportunities and resources.
In this class, we help you:
鈥 Achieve academic success
鈥 Discover and connect with WCSU
鈥 Increase personal development, wellbeing, and social responsibility
At the end of the year when you pass this course, you earn one class credit.
This part of WCSU's FYE guides you as you make friends, learn interesting things and find 鈥渟econd-home鈥 places around campus. With the help and approval of your professor, at the end of the semester when you鈥檝e filled one of each of the five 鈥渨olf traits鈥 categories on the passport, you earn credit in your class.
